Hello Panthers,

If you have not joined PTA this year, please put Name, email, phone and five dollars in an envelope and give to the office staff! All PTA members should have received a newsletter from our fabulous new PTA board. If you have not, that means that you have not joined PTA OR your email has been entered incorrectly. Please email amy@karischurch.org to add/correct/change that!

September PTA meeting minutes are up. Just go under "minutes" up above this post. Watch DOGS was a huge success too! All dads, please sign up for one day of watch DOGS fun. Go to the office for more information! Thanks for everyone's help Thursday!

Cookie Dough and Chevys Fundraisers

Right now cookie dough sales are going on. The orders are due next Friday, April 29th. Give them to your teachers.

Also, next Thursday, April 28th, is Chevys Fresh Mex Day! Flyers are coming home tomorrow! Anytime from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., eat yummy food equals more money in the PTA account!! YAHOOO!!! Enjoy and see you there!

Chuck E Cheese

Next Thursday is Chuck E Cheese Night!! January 27th from 5 to 8 p.m. Come to Chuck E Cheese on Worley Street play, eat, have fun and mention Parkade!! Our school will profit!!

Fazolis News!! One of our PTA Friends in Education!

I wanted to let you know that starting tomorrow, July 27th, kids can eat for $0.99. We also have a program where parents can enter into a sweepstakes to win $2,500 for your school, plus a free family meal each month for a year. Garden Help!

Hello Panthers,

Summer is rolling and I hope everyone is having fun! We are starting on the garden soon at Parkade. See the section "Minutes" for the latest updates PTA meeting minutes. This is the way for you to stay informed if you are unable to come to the meetings every other month.

Email Amy Larson, amy@karischurch.org, or any office staff to see how you can help with the garden. We are starting it next week. Digging, some planting, then getting it ready for the students to really get in and get planting for fall and for next spring. We have supplies and ideas, just need hands!!!

Happy Summer!

The 2009/2010 year ending well... and happy graduation to all those fifth graders!

Next PTA meeting is June 15th at Chevy's Restaurant. Come and join us for planning next year!

This next two days!!

Oh, we are ready.. Panthers, Friday is an afternoon to pick up your child at 1:10, drop off a cake for the cake walk Saturday, and pick up your cookie dough orders.... THEN come at noon on Saturday for the Spring Festival. It is a Community Event, invite all your friends. Your teacher may be in the dunking booth, you can go home with great prizes and a cake!! Ticket tables will have 4 tickets for a dollar or 25 for five dollars. Lunches will be $3.00 for a hot dog, chips, cookie, and a drink. T-shirt orders will be taken, sno cones will be licking, pop corn munching, and games-a-playing!!

Remember to vote for Parkade through U.S. Cellular.. Go to a store, grab a "calling all communities" card, go home and vote. That is all you do! Please ask all family and friends to help out too, from all over the country. Go here to find a store near you!

This week is the H1N1 vaccine at the school. Make sure your form has been signed and turn it in to the teacher.

December 12th is the Barnes and Noble Fundraising day. Buy anything in the store, the food area, etc.. and 15 to 25 percent will be donated to Parkade PTA. That will help the PTA budget money for field trips, 5th grade graduation, classroom supplies, etc.
