Hello Friends,

We have a lot of fall happenings!

October 21st at 7 p.m. is PTA movie night at the school!! This is Spirit Week!! Fall parties are coming up, make sure you tell the room parents what you are able to bring!! Today is the first student council meeting!! This Thursday is fundraiser pick up!! It gets sent back at 7 p.m. unless you pick up your items (no refunds)! Food drive and Chili supper next week! Flu shots coming up around the corner!! So much fun going on!!

Also, we are now a facebook group... go to your facebook and look up "Parkade Elementary Happenings" and ask to join!!

If you have not joined PTA this year, please put Name, email, phone and five dollars in an envelope and give to the office staff! All PTA members should have received a newsletter from our fabulous new PTA board. If you have not, that means that you have not joined PTA OR your email has been entered incorrectly. Please email amy@karischurch.org to add/correct/change that!

September PTA meeting minutes are up. Just go under "minutes" up above this post. Watch DOGS was a huge success too! All dads, please sign up for one day of watch DOGS fun. Go to the office for more information! Thanks for everyone's help Thursday!

Keep collecting box tops for the school!! We also collect coke reward points. Visit mycokerewards.com, sign yourself up, collect points, then give points to the school. Parkade is signed up and has 1300 plus points already! Remember September 15th for the PTA meeting. We are finalizing and voting on the budget for this year. Watch DOGS is that same night. Dads, bring kids, eat pizza, sign up to be a Watch DOGS Dad. Moms, help out on the playground during the meeting time!! Let the office or PTA (amy@karischurch.org or mcpiket@health.missouri.edu) know if you can help supervise for 30 minutes. Have a great Labor Day Weekend!

August 16th is Meet the Teacher Night 4:30-6:30pm.

Panter fun this weekend!! May 20th and 21st!!

This Friday is cookie dough pick up friends!! Come to the gym between 3:30 and 6 p.m. Drop off you cakes for the cake walk at that time too!

Saturday is Spring Festival!! Rain or shine, we have a plan for both!! So, come for food, games, and fun from 12 to 3 p.m.

The Animaland man also will be bringing extra animals and Panther bear shirts. If you were unable to pre purchase one, don't worry, you can buy one Saturday. (until supplies last!) He even takes debit and credit cards!!

May 17th, next PTA meeting...

Hello Panthers,

Don't forget to come to May 17th PTA meeting. It will be at 5:15 in the library. We will vote on our new board for next year. Then we will lock in all final items for the Spring Festival. We need your help to run booths. Please let Mr. Bass, Mrs. Noelker, Mrs. Henry or PTA know if you can run a booth for us.

Cookie Dough and Chevys Fundraisers

Right now cookie dough sales are going on. The orders are due next Friday, April 29th. Give them to your teachers.

Also, next Thursday, April 28th, is Chevys Fresh Mex Day! Flyers are coming home tomorrow! Anytime from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., eat yummy food equals more money in the PTA account!! YAHOOO!!! Enjoy and see you there!
